This class is similar to "Asthanga Vinyasa Yoga English" (a sequence that combine vinyasas, diaphragmatic breath, bandhas (the contraction of specific muscles) and drishtis (gazing points). However, in this traditional Mysore style class you will learn and practice the well-constructed series of postures at your own pace. This is in contrast to classes where the teacher leads you through the sequences of poses. You will develop a deeper understanding of each pose and be given individual instruction and attention from the teacher, allowing for a personalized practice tailored to your unique needs. In this class you will improve your strength, flexibility and reduce stress.
