Bachata Solo english description
verantwortlich: Kristin Hachmeister

Bachata is a style of dance and music from the Dominican Republic with a characteristic 4/4 rhythm. Typical instruments include the guitar, bass, bongos and güira. It was originally danced in bars, on the streets and at family celebrations, and is now a popular Latin American dance worldwide.

This workshop is an introduction to traditional Dominican bachata in a solo format. The focus is not only on individual steps, but above all on natural body movements in harmony with the music. The aim is not to learn as many isolated steps as possible, but to execute a few movements cleanly, consciously and with quality. We will work on musicality, expression, harmony and body awareness, so that you can experience the essence of bachata holistically.

The workshop is open to everyone, whether you have no prior experience or just a little.
