Pilates (English description)

In this course, the focus is not only on mobilizing the body—with particular emphasis on the spine—but above all on strengthening all major deep muscle groups as well as the abdominal wall. During Pilates, the entire muscular and musculoskeletal system is alternately challenged and supported, promoting a controlled, focused, and conscious awareness of one’s own body. The course also includes stretching units and balance exercises. Depending on individual fitness levels, different exercise variations are offered, allowing everyone the opportunity for a personalized challenge.

Tip: Please bring a towel for the mat and clean indoor shoes; however, shoes are not strictly necessary for this type of class. Training can also be done in socks or barefoot.
